The UN’s Sustainable Development Goals
The 2030 agenda for sustainable development was adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015. This agenda seeks towards peace and prosperity for people and the planet. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), are how the UN plans to get there, and they are the at the center of this agenda.
The 17 sustainable development goals are all go hand-in-hand. They range from ending poverty to fighting climate change, and each goal directly or indirectly contributes to each of the others. These self-supporting goals are the path towards a brighter future.
