New Satellite Set to Launch with Goal to Monitor Methane Emissions

Google and the Environmental Defense Fund have created a new satellite called MethaneSAT which is set to launch in March in order to track and pin point methane emissions. The project aims to hold businesses and entities accountable in hope to reduce the emissions mainly stemming from oil and gas production.
